Calanchi House

About

Recovery of a ruin nestled among gullies, olive groves and wheat fields, along an ancient pastoral track.

The intervention included the removal of superfetations to bring back the original volumes. The central body houses the entrance hall, dining area and historic fireplace. An iron staircase leads to the first floor with master bedroom and small spa. The new walls maintain a material balance with the pre-existing, creating continuity between old and new.
