The value of wood seen up close
At our showrooms and production facilities, we had the pleasure of welcoming the students of the Forest Sciences course of the Marche Polytechnic University (UNIVPM), for a day of immersive training in the world of parquet and its supply chain.
The aim of the initiative is to introduce future forestry professionals to the world of wood flooring, with the aim of promoting its production in an informed manner.
During the visit, the students were able to:
- Explore our showroom, viewing all our wood types and related processes;
- Learn about the parquet production process, from board selection to finishing;
- Discuss with our team key issues such as sustainability, FSC/PEFC certification, innovation in finishes and design.
Through hands-on demonstrations and open dialogues, we wanted to share our vision: parquet is not just a finished product, but the result of a conscious supply chain, which starts with responsible forest management and is transformed into a living, elegant and durable material.
